Tunisia's Constituent Assembly is the country's provisional legislative organ instructed with the task of governing and devising a new constitution following the 2011 Jasmine revolution. It convenes in the "Bardo Palace" which also houses the National Museum and dates back to the 13th century. Representatives in the Constituent Assembly were voted to the Assembly in the first free and fair elections in the country's history.
