LK Parliament

With its clear-cut geometric forms, nevertheless reflecting local influences, and its specific link to the environment, the parliamentary complex in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is in the style of tropical modernism pioneered by its architect Geoffrey Bawa. The precursor of this building was a classicist parliament building erected by the British colonial administration in Colombo.
