SK Parliament

Situated on Alexander-Dubček Square, the building faces a bust of that key politician of the Prague Spring. Originally conceived in 1986 as Slovakia's parliament within the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the building was still unfinished after the velvet revolution of 1989. For converting it into the seat of the Slovakian National Council, statues of Communist leader Klement Gottwald had to be removed.
