The Danish parliament has come to pop culture prominence in recent years above all thanks to "Borgen", a successful TV series which has garnered several international awards. "Borgen" is the colloquial name of Christiansborg Palace, the joint home of the executive, judiciary and legislature, the "Folketing" Parliament.
