(Allow Pop-Up Windows)
The "Great Hall of the People" was built during the disastrous "Great Leap Forward" on the tenth anniversary of the People’s Republic. In addition to the congresses of the Communist Party, the meetings of the National People’s Congress, and other political assemblies, the building has since recently also been a venue for pop concerts. The musicals "Cats" and "Chicago" have already been performed in the building too.
