(Allow Pop-Up Windows)
Built in the tradition of the monumental archetype, this building consists of an oblong structure topped by a cupola and surrounded by a colonnade featuring full-length columns. The perforated façade, however, is somewhat untypical with its small structures and narrow windows behind the columns, which detract from the building’s otherwise grand appearance. This huge building was originally designed to house a grand Korean parliament after the unification of North and South Korea.
